The Melbourne Rainbow Band is taking part in GiveOUT Day 2026. GiveOUT Day is the rainbow community’s national day of giving. It’s your chance to help support the incredible work that our community organisations undertake.

Excitingly, any donations made are tax deductible AND are matched by Rainbow Giving Australia. Your $50 donation becomes $100 for the band!

GiveOUT Day funds will support Melbourne Rainbow Band’s concert program, advancing music and LGBTQIA+ artistic expression through the development and public presentation of repertoire by queer and diverse composers. Funding will expand the Band’s music library and contribute to instruments needed to rehearse and present this repertoire in major public concerts. These resources will enable the Band to share diverse musical works with audiences and strengthen LGBTQIA+ cultural representation through live performance.

We will use the funds provided to purchase new music, and to contribute to purchasing new instruments.
