The first in the MRB’s series of four free concerts (sponsored by the City Of Stonnington), this event was targeted at Stonnington Community Care, which is an aged care facility that also uses the Will Sampson Hall (the MRB rehearsal venue).
Beginning at 2pm, the Band performed two diverse half hour sets to much appreciation from the audience. Refreshments were provided for audience members during intermission, at which point they mingled with Band members and had the chance to find out more about the MRB.
